Level C-D11U Bolt replaces the bolt and internal mechanism while preserving compatible exterior and interior deadbolt trim, using Bluetooth, a CR2 cell, and model-specific HomeKit support.
Setup: Remove the existing bolt, confirm bore and tailpiece compatibility, install Level Bolt at the correct backset, insert a CR2 cell, retain compatible trim, then add and calibrate in the Level app.
Reset: Remove or transfer the lock in the Level app when possible, then follow C-D11U's physical reset procedure and recalibrate. Battery removal by itself does not clear account ownership.
Troubleshooting: For jams, operate the door unlocked by hand, deepen or center the strike if required, verify tailpiece engagement, install a fresh CR2, and recalibrate with the door both open and closed.
Compatibility and ecosystem boundary: C-D11U is the original Bluetooth/HomeKit-era Level Bolt. Later Matter hardware or firmware advertising cannot be applied without an exact manufacturer compatibility statement for this model.
