Setup: Confirm the existing thumbturn and clearances, select the exact adapter, secure the interior motor, install four AA cells and DoorSense magnet, add it over Bluetooth, then calibrate lock and door positions.
Reset: Use account transfer/removal before the physical factory reset. Recalibration fixes travel without erasing ownership, while a reset requires app, keypad, hub, Matter, and DoorSense relationships to be rebuilt.
