Google Nest Thermostat is the 2020 mirror-display 24V model for Google Home, powered by two AAA cells plus HVAC power and equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Thread, and Matter support.
Setup: Turn off HVAC power, photograph terminal labels, run the online compatibility checker, wire only the approved 24V terminals, install two AAA cells, and complete equipment tests in Google Home.
Reset: Use the side control to open Settings and choose restart or the required reset scope. Full factory reset removes Google Home, Matter, schedule, network, and equipment configuration.
Troubleshooting: For low power or disconnects, replace both AAA cells, inspect R/C or Power Connector wiring, breaker, fuse, and panel switch. Heating or cooling errors require verifying system type and terminal assignments.
