Additional useful information
Use this Scanual guide to identify Google Nest Audio, follow official setup and reset guidance, and match power, radio, mounting, hub, and regional accessories to model Nest Audio.
Google Nest Audio is a mains-powered smart speaker with a 75mm woofer, 19mm tweeter, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, Chromecast, and Google Assistant microphones.
Setup: Connect the supplied 24V adapter, add Nest Audio in Google Home while the phone is on the intended Wi-Fi, assign a room, complete Voice Match choices, and update firmware.
Reset: Turn the rear microphone switch off, wait for the lights, and hold the top-center touch area until the factory-reset confirmation completes. The speaker must then be added again.
Troubleshooting: For setup failure, verify adapter output, app local-network and Bluetooth permissions, supported Wi-Fi security, and proximity to the router. Audio faults also warrant removing a stale stereo pair or speaker group.
Compatibility and ecosystem boundary: Nest Audio can coordinate Matter-over-Wi-Fi products in Google Home but is not a Thread border router. Its 24V power connector and stereo pairing are model-specific.
Maintenance and accessory matching: Use the correct 30W adapter, leave acoustic and ventilation surfaces clear, and choose mounts rated for Nest Audio. A power supply from Nest Mini or a display is not presumed compatible.
